The winners of the Chinese Bridge-Global Chinese Language Conference Cloud Dubbing Competition were announced in March. Eight students from our Secondary School participated in the competition, and two of them won the Second Prize and Outstanding Work Award in the "Junior Group." The Chinese teacher, Ms. Moony, was also awarded the title of Outstanding Instructor for her excellent coaching skills.
寒冷褪去,春日的气息已弥漫在这座美丽城市的各个角落,春天的信使为爱莎科学城学校送来了一则好消息:在2021“汉语桥”全球外国人汉语大会中文影视作品云配音比赛中,学校中学部的8名参赛学生中的2名学生在激烈的竞争中脱颖而出,分别获得大赛二等奖和“萌新组”优秀作品奖,学校中文教师Moony(冯元菲)也凭借出色的指导能力荣获“优秀指导老师”称号。

As well as the two winners, the following students received certificates of participation (merit awards) from National Language Cooperation Center: Leandro Bastieri, Amine Aykut, Andrew Kim, Tabitha Law and Natalie Liu from Grade 7, and Isabella Hilton from Grade 8.
除了两位获奖学生外,剩余参赛的6名学生也获得了由国家语言合作中心颁发的参赛证书(优秀奖),他们分别是:来自七年级的Leandro Bastieri, Amine Aykut, Andrew Kim, Tabitha Law 和Natalie Liu, 以及来自八年级的Isabella Hilton.
As the competition's instructor, Miss Moony hoped that the students would enjoy voicing characters in films and TV shows, enjoy watching Chinese films and TV programmes, have fun learning Chinese, and gain confidence in speaking Chinese.
参赛指导老师Moony表示,她希望学生能够在为影视作品中的角色配音的过程中感到快乐,享受观看中国的电影电视节目,享受中文学习的乐趣,并从中获得开口说中文的自信。

About the Competition
关于此次比赛
The Chinese Bridge-Global Chinese Language Conference Cloud Dubbing Competition is an online Chinese language competition organized by the China National Language Cooperation Center. This competition aims to foster foreign students' interest in Chinese language and Chinese film and television by allowing them to dub Chinese films and videos, as well as to increase non-native Chinese students' knowledge of Chinese film and television. The competition was open to participants from around the world, with 1,152 voice-over entries submitted by 974 contestants from 226 institutions in 97 countries. After an extensive evaluation process, the national professional judging team selected one first prize, three second prizes, and five third prizes from each continent, as well as ten outstanding prizes for participants under 14 from around the world in the "Junior Group."
汉语桥-全球外国人汉语大会云配音比赛是由中国国家语言合作中心组办的线上汉语语言比赛。大赛旨在通过让外国学生给中国的影视作品配音,培养其对中文以及中国影视作品的兴趣,并提升非中文为母语的学生对中国影视作品的理解力以及对角色的模仿力。本次大赛的参赛选手遍布全球,最终收集了来自97个国家、226所院校、974名选手提交的1152个配音作品,经国家专业评审团队的评定,最终评选出各大洲的一等奖一名,二等奖三名,三等奖五名,以及全球14岁以下参赛者组成的“萌新组”优秀奖十名。

三大语言项目,五大学习课程
There are 3 language programmes with 5 learning pathways offered at ISASC: English, Chinese and ‘Mother Tongue’. Mother tongue is for students whose first language is not English or Chinese. These students are, with family support able to continue formally learning this language.
爱莎科学城学校提供三大语言项目:英文项目、中文项目和母语支持项目(其中英文和中文项目采用分级教学,分别开设“语言与文学”及“语言习得”课程)。母语支持项目专为母语为非中英文的学生开设,家长可向学校提出上课申请,学校将给予充分支持。

In Early Years, teachers use the “immersion method” of language teaching to provide children with a relaxing, engaging, and fun learning environment. In Primary and Secondary School, students learn English and Chinese through a systematic learning model using level-based teaching methods with set teaching hours.
在幼儿阶段,老师采用 "浸入式教学法 "进行语言教学,为孩子们提供一个轻松愉快、渐入佳境的学习环境;而在中小学阶段分层教学法,学生通过系统的学习模式在特定的教学时间内学习英文和中文。
